P&C fundraising
Fundraising and community events are what we do best here at Albany Hills. Money raised through the P&C is given back to the school to pay for play equipment, air-conditioning and new construction such as the new outdoor learning area. Getting involved in our fundraising is also a great opportunity to meet other parents and carers here at school.
We greatly appreciate any help from the Albany Hills school community. Thank you to all those Albany Hills parents and carers who are currently involved with the P&C or who have contributed to it in the past. Thank you also to those who have volunteered your time or your baking efforts towards P&C events and activities.
Who we are
We are a group of people who are passionate about supporting our school
community – our students and their families, staff of the school and the
P&C, and our neighbours in the local community.
What we do
We support the school community and provide services, such as:
We also support the
school’s music program through our very active Music Committee. This group is directly involved in a wide range of
events held throughout the year that allow our students to express themselves
musically.
These events also provide
an opportunity for us to raise money to advance the music program to the
benefit of our current and future students.
How we do it
Our members want the best
for the school community.
We employ a small number of
staff to provide services we can trust and rely on.
But we cannot operate
effectively without the strong support of our dedicated, self-sacrificing,
hard-working, good-humoured, and very much-appreciated volunteers. Some
volunteers help on an ongoing basis, others like to help for a particular event,
or even for part of an event (e.g. set-up, pack-up).
We don’t mind how you get
involved, we just love it when you do.
