Years 4, 5 and 6
BYOL is a program that will allow students who have suitable personal laptops to bring them to school to use for educational purposes to meet their learning needs under the direction of their teacher.
The Albany Hills State School BYOL program is an extension of the Department of Education’s BYOX (Bring Your Own Device) program which has been in place since 2014 and is one of the distinctive offerings of our school for students in Years 4, 5 and 6.
Albany Hills State School has a future vision, aiming to be proactive in incorporating eLearning strategies to engage and empower all learners (students and teachers) and preparing them to contribute confidently, effectively and innovatively within existing and emerging global communities. The BYOL program is a key element in this vision.
Students who participate in the BYOL Program will be given the following agreement forms to complete and return to school:
